issues with phphostbot sign ups
« on: March 05, 2010, 08:51:26 AM »
First time client signed up, he created an account and registered two hosting plans under his account.  One account disappeared (champagnefranis.com) and the other says failed (briansilverman.net).  But when you VIEW ALL ACCOUNTS you can see that the client did add the accounts and the hosting accounts were created and exist on WHM.  Also both payments were received, so it's not a billing issue.

In testing and attempting to fix; one of the accounts was removed so now it only shows that the client has 1 account.   We tried to add the second account back but since it exists on WHM it won't allow it.

Also I notice the stats show nothing even though he paid and signed up two accounts.

So if the client signed up, logged in, added two accounts successfully, confirmed on WHM, why is hostbot admin not displaying the proper information?

This is frustrating.

This is so frustrating - not a single response from tech support and no help on the board.  I want my money back.

Seriously, wtf??

I don't use the script, but it sounds like a MySQL problem.
Do you have other clients registered through the script?

More than likely WHM will kick back any attempt to create the account if it's already created and active on the server.

Have you tried registering a different site through the script?

We were using it fine on another VPs.  So we installed it on our new VPS and had one customer sign up and he created 2 accounts.  (1 login, 2 domain name accounts)

One said failed and the other said active.  And when you VIEW ALL you can see the accounts were created on WHM and the payments were successful.

So basically phphostbot is not displaying the correct information.  And it wont let me "add account" because it's already that domain is already setup on WHM.

I need phphostbot to retain the Paypal subscription that was already made.  As of right now I am not sure it knows to renew.

It probably doesn't.  Do you have any experience with MySQL?
You could copy and paste a few lines to make the transaction show up.

I don't have the script as stated before.
I wouldn't know what queries to conjure up.
However, compare a working account with the non working account, find the similarities, and create the needed entry.

That is something way over my head.   Why hasn't support responded???   This is not cool.

You have someone willing to help.
If it's over your head, then anything else Aaron suggests would be worthless.
More than likely they will say something like, "reinstall".

If you want help, contact me.
