Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise on the following please:
I've been looking for a script to provide a Membership system for a Club to allow registration (fixed period 1 year). The system should allow a visitor to register, take a payment and allow the Club to view members and their status. iSubscribe seems to do all of this and more, although I don't really need the other secure area protection features.
However I did need to ask a couple of Questions:
1. My first question I'd already asked in a previous post about extra fields.
As my purpose is to use this for a slightly different reason that it was designed for, I needed to add some extra fields to Members. I received an answer that it would take some code changes to the front end/database which I already realised. I was just hoping someone might know if this would be a relatively easy change or a very complex one?
2. Once the subscription is created in iSubscribe, if the subscription is due to expire I assume warning emails are generated directly from PayPal and not from iSubscribe, is this correct?
3. Is someone cancels the subscription directly in PayPal how would the Club know this? Would an email notification of the cancellation also be sent by PayPal to the Club and the Club would have to manually deactivate the subscription?
4. Is there any more detailed documentation than the wiki provided with the software?
Sorry if these seem like stupid questions but I'm just trying to get my head around if this is the correct software for what I have in mind.
